Workforce Development Programs

As industry and business locate, relocate, or downsize,  the Center works closely with the Kansas Works program and the KS Department of Commerce to rapidly develop training programs for pre-employment or current employer needs.

For example, the Adult Education Center provides Work Keys assessment (pre/post) as well as a the Manufacturing Skills Certificate 120 contact hour program to help develop basic manufacturing skills for future or current manufacturing  employees.

E-mail the Adult Education Center for more information.

Small Business and Entreprenuer Programs

The B&I Training Center is dedicated to growing new and current businesses from within our community. This "grow our own" philosophy is shared with our training partners, the Emporia Main Street organization and the Kansas Small Business Development Center at ESU.
