DNA 213 - Infection Control

 Students will perform functions necessary to control the spread of disease agents and maintain office safety. Significant regulatory actions by federal, state, and local agencies for the protection of both patients and dental healthcare workers are covered. Basic concepts, specific step-by-step procedures, and the current regulatory mandates related to infection control and the management of hazardous diseases of primary concern to the dental health team are also studied. Prerequisite for DNA 213: DNA 110
