Students will study the materials of dentistry in order to select the appropriate materials based on patient health care needs. This course requires an internship either in a dental laboratory setting or as a sales representative for a dental supply company. This experience will allow each student to become aware of the differing materials available to the dental practitioner. Prerequisite for DNA 244: Dental Assisting Diploma.
