Students will utilize software for electronic page assembly of text and graphic elements as well as create single and multi-colored artwork using vector and raster-based graphics software applications. Students will explore page layout and design concepts as well as scanning equipment and output devices. An exploration of basic design principles will be included as well as the appropriate use of vector and raster-based graphics software within the graphic reproduction process.
