Mission:
The mission of Flint Hills Technical College Adult Education Center is to provide a diverse community of learners with educational opportunities for personal growth and preparation for professional and civic responsibilities that meet the needs of society.
Vision:
Our vision is to empower individuals to become productive citizens who can participate successfully in the contemporary workplace and global society.

Purpose Statements:
To provide student services through a meaningful process of academic assessment and student advisement.
To provide basic academic education including English language skills, workplace skills, basic technology, teambuilding, and critical thinking skills.
To promote and model the benefits of life-long learning.
To provide business and industry with qualified personnel through the offering of a high school diploma through GED testing and the building of language, workplace, and technology skills.
To maintain a positive environment conducive to learning, personal growth, and safety.
Career Paths:
Students receive a Kansas High School Diploma, which is accredited by the Kansas Board of Regents, and are eligible for any field of employment or study that a High School Diploma gives.
The Industry:
Entry Level positions or entry into postsecondary training.
The Program:
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend GED Courses.
Instruction
Interactive study in classrooms and computer labs.
