Under the direction of the Administrator, the social service professionals, lead by the Social Services Director, are responsible for assuring that quality social services are provided to residents and their families, assisting them with the social and emotional aspects of illness and disability; also to promote a therapeutic community including residents, families and the entire staff so that supportive relationships will be developed, thus enhancing the care given.
