Students will define and apply the basic theories of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. This includes general control of the temperature inside residential and industrial buildings. Devices such as condenser fans, coils, and evaporators are included. Job Skills are included. Students will have the opportunity to obtain Section 608 Clean Air Act EPA certification, HVAC and R Electrical and Air Conditioning.
