In this course students will learn industry and government safety requirements. These requirements relate to topics such as fire, and electrical safety, lockout/tag out procedures and the proper use and handling of hazardous materials. They will learn how to use MSDS sheets when dealing with chemicals and other hazardous materials. Confined spaces will be defined and the safety requirements for entry. Students will be taught the correct emergency actions to use if a co-worker is injured.
