NET 248 - Microsoft Server Administration

Students will install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Microsoft Windows server operating system.  They will examine and perform common tasks used by network administrators to manage basic and dynamic disks, monitor the server, manage user/workstation accounts in the Microsoft Active Directory, and to install and configure server hardware devices.   Students will also analyze and demonstrate fundamental practices used to secure user access to the Windows server and its file system.  Upon completion of the course students will be prepared to take the Microsoft server certification exam.
