This first semester course will refresh and expand the EMT-P student’s knowledge of the fundamentals required by the US Department of Transportation for all pre-hospital care providers. Students will review medical/legal issues associated with pre-hospital medical care, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, life span development, and will be provided with knowledge and skills training on advanced skills performed by EMT-Ps in the pre-hospital setting.
