The Board of Trustees, the governing Board of Flint Hills Technical College, henceforth known as FHTC, is a body corporate established by an act of the Kansas Legislature and it possesses all of the powers of a body corporate for the purposes created by or that may exist under provisions of the law of the State of Kansas to exercise such rights and privileges as may be necessary for the management and administration of FHTC. The Board has the responsibility for the development and operation of FHTC in accordance with provisions of the Kansas law and the standards of the Kansas Board of Regents.
