Flint Hills Technical College is coordinated by the Kansas Board of Regents and accredited through the Higher Learning Commission. Program accreditations include the American Association of General Contractors; the Kansas State Board of Nursing; the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs; the American Dental Association; and the Graphic Arts Education Research Foundation.

As you navigate the self-study please note the following:

• Each page number within the Table of Contents and Index is a link corresponding to that particular section within the self-study.
• Words in blue text are links to internal references.
• Words in green text are links to external references which will be available upon your arrival at FHTC.
• Words in red text are documents in hard-copy format which will be available in the FHTC resource room.
• There are multiple tools for navigating this self-study.

1. To view bookmarks: under the View menu, select Show/Hide, select Navigation Panes, and finally select Bookmarks. This will allow you to view the bookmarks while also viewing the self-study.
2. To view page thumbnails: under the View menu, select Show/Hide, select Navigation Panes, and finally select Page Thumbnails. This will allow you to view page thumbnails while also viewing the self-study.
3. After clicking a link and reaching your destination: press the Alt key and the left arrow key simultaneously in order to return to your original source within the self-study.

Download instructions:

1. Click once on the HLC Self Study 2012 link
2. Save the page to your computer
3. Right-click on the saved zip file
4. Choose Extract All
5. Click Extract
6. Click "Yes" to all boxes that open
7. Double-click the "fhtc-self-study" folder
8. Double-click the "Final PDF Document" folder
