Students will analyze and compare the specialties of dentistry. Periodontics, orthodontics and oral pathology are discussed. The importance of understanding pathology when providing direct patient care is recognized, as well as diseased of the dental pulp and diseased of the oral soft tissues. Prerequisite: DNA 101 Chairside Principles I.
