Students will examine the essentials of computer network security by analyzing and demonstrating the risks and threats to an organization’s data and exploring the methods and technologies used to safeguard this data.  Upon completion of the course students will be prepared to take the Security+ certification exam. Prerequisites: NET 273 Linux Administration II and NET 249 Managing a Microsoft Network.
