NET 280 - Cisco Network Administration
Students will analyze and demonstrate the procedures required to install, configure, secure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers in an internetwork environment. They will examine and perform fundamental management tasks using the Cisco IOS software. Upon completion of the course students will be prepared to take the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and/or the first Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification exams. Prerequisites: Successfully completed “Test Out” of BUS 118 or completed BUS 118 with a grade of “D” or better; Grade of “D” or better in NET 115, NET 116, & NET 117; Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; Instructor approval.
