IMD170 Digital Video Production II

3 Credit Hours

This class will cover in depth subjects in non-linear video editing, storyboarding, and storytelling. Students will learn multiple techniques in video encoding for DVD and web based output. Advance lighting techniques for dramatic effect will be covered, as well as, the use of gobos, gels, scrims, color temperature and picking the correct lighting set up for the job. The use of the camera dollies, jibs and other camera mounts will expose students to varying ways professionals use camera angles to move the audience and set the mood for a shot.
