MA099 Intermediate Algebra

3 Credit Hours

Students will learn and demonstrate the use of the basics of algebra such as linear equations, inequalities, polynomials and functions, factoring, and quadratic equations. The course is designed to provide the students with the math skills needed in order to succeed in College Algebra. An Initial Knowledge Exam will determine the level for each student and students will then work on the identified areas of attention. ~KCOG System wide Transfer Alignment MAT0990 PREREQUISITE: MA 097 Beginning Algebra with a grade of “C” or higher or appropriate score on the math placement test.
