Students will learn the basics of computer networking and how to share files and collaborate with others. Students will learn how graphics and video files need to flow through the production “pipeline”. Students will be exposed to computer connectivity and the same workflow that they will encounter in a professional video production or animation facility. Subjects covered include TCP/IP, file servers and video servers, file permissions, and network troubleshooting.
