Certified Medication Aide

Once you have successfully obtained your CNA license, you can enhance your healthcare career with the CMA training. This course will teach you how to successfully administer medications within a healthcare facility.

  • Six week course/75 Hours
  • State certification exam upon successful course completion
  • Hands-on clinical experience

Prerequisites

  • Students must have a Current Kansas CNA certification prior to enrolling in this program.

Sondra VanSickle

Sondra VanSickle

Sondra has been a Registered Nurse since 1981 after graduating from Newman School of Nursing, she also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Healthcare Administration/Management from FHTC. Her experience in the healthcare field includes med/surgical unit, ICU and telemetry, charge nurse, as well as serving as Director of Nursing at a long-term care facility for 26 years. Sondra taught part-time at FHTC before becoming a full-time instructor in 2014.
