This course facilitates the student’s development as a responsible leader in public health programs. Topics include public health structure and global public health access, statistical procedures for critiquing scientific literature and epidemiology. Course content includes emphasis on the role of the dental hygienist in community health promotion, implementation and evaluation using evidence based research.
