A faculty-supervised work environment involving research into multimedia design, production and procedures that relate to real-world situations in a career field. This course allows a student to investigate in depth some subject matter that has been presented in one of the ordinary courses offered by the College and utilize those competencies in a career or job situation. Such an internship is ordinarily in the area of concentration that the student is especially prepared. A student who desires to pursue an internship must present a list of objectives and goals to be reached during the internship in advance of the pre- registration period to the IMD faculty instructor who agrees to direct and evaluate the internship.
